Come as you aren’t to Houston’s biggest and best Halloween event! Join the 11th Annual Montrose Crawl on Saturday, October 28th!

First get your costume on, then get your drink on as the Crawl hits 12 bars & restaurants between Dunlavy & Montrose on Westheimer, including Brasil, Poison Girl, Pistolero’s, the Free Press Graveyard, Boondocks, Stone’s Throw, Etro Lounge, Catbirds, Present Company, Doc’s Motorworks, Slick Willie’s, and El Real Tex-Mex.

As always, there’ll be no covers & no tickets, plus live DJs spinning all night long. And prizes will be awarded for the best outfits at each stop, with a grand costume prize awarded by this year’s honorary Grand Crawler Craig Hlavaty.

A portion of drink sales during the Crawl will be donated to the Houston Area Women’s Center, one of Montrose’s most important aid organizations.

The 11th Annual Montrose Crawl is brought to you by Free Press Houston, Houston’s leading independent media source, 8th Wonder Brewery, our official brewery, Maker’s Mark & Jim Beam, our official bourbons, Effen, our official vodka, Izkali, our official tequila, and Uber, our official ride, with special flavors & favors provided by Red Bull.

District provided services such as safety patrols by off-duty HPD officers, graffiti abatement, trash pick-up, maintenance of esplanades, among other services outlined in the Districts’ Assessment Plan, that are supplemental to services provided by the City of Houston, had been reduced in Mid-November and ceased completely as of December 11. The District had to cease the services due to unpaid assessments from some of the commercial property owners within the District. Delinquent assessments for 2016 and prior years are being collected for services that were delivered in 2017. The current lawsuit status does not affect the collection of delinquent assessments due for 2016 and prior years for services rendered for calendar year 2017. Please direct questions regarding the cessation of services to Executive Director, Ben Brewer at BBrewer@MontroseDistrict.org. We are committed to helping our neighborhood remain the safe, vibrant and attractive place to live and do business and would like to hear from you on how we can continue to work together in this effort.
